PLEASE DO NOT WEAR BASEBALL TYPE SPIKES! (Either metal or plastic). The damage from this type of spike occurs mostly along the base paths where runners are making turns.  The long spikes loosen the dirt and it worsens as the game is played. See the examples below for the types of shoes that are allowed and not allowed.
